I started this blog intending to write book reviews, but then I felt I just had to write something about the New Moon movie because . . . well read the review. So then I thought, ok, I’ll review books and movies and I’ll do it from a feminist perspective (since, you know, I’m a feminist). But I am also somewhat grandiose so I began thinking, “well why don’t I write about all issues concerning women,” which, I don’t mind telling you is a tad overwhelming.

So as it stands, I don’t know where this blog will go, but since I have the desire, and the means to express my opinions on any subject without the threat of abuse, prosecution, or death I plan to do so. Believe it or not, not all women of the twenty-first century are afforded these luxuries. Therefore, this blog (wherever it goes) is dedicated to the women past and present who have made it possible for me to have a voice. This blog is also dedicated to the hundreds of thousands of women who are never given the opportunity to be heard.
